Why Amplify and StudyReel Track Your Time Differently

Have you ever noticed that Amplify and StudyReel show different times when you're learning? Well, that's because they have their own unique ways of watching the clock. Let's dive into why this happens!

Amplify's Clock-Watching Style:

  1. Always Observing! 🧐
    • Amplify pays super close attention to almost everything you do in the Boost program. Whether you're playing skill games, reading eReader texts, or doing other cool activities, Amplify is taking notes!

Dash's Clock-Watching Style:

  1. Browser Tab Detective: 🔍
    • Dash mostly looks at which browser tabs you have open and if you're active there. So, if you're on the login page, student dashboard, or just starting a game, Dash counts that time.

When Amplify and Dash See Things Differently:

  • Amplify: If you start a Boost game but then go peek at another tab in your browser, Amplify still counts a bit of this time. But, if you're away too long (like almost an hour), Amplify thinks you took a snack break and stops counting.

  • StudyReel: Remembers times like when you're on the login page or starting a game. It's like a friend who notices when you first arrive at a party!

In a Nutshell 🥜

Amplify and Dash are like two buddies with different stopwatches. They don't always show the same time, but both are trying their best to support your learning journey.

Always keep learning, and remember, it's not just about the clock; it's about having fun and growing your brain! 🧠✨
