Core Criteria for Achieving a 2H Session Across ALL Apps:
- Master the Units: Earned the target number of Allowed Mastered Units for your app.Â
- Accuracy is Key: The final accuracy was 80% or above for the work you did overall.Â
- Avoid Anti-patterns: You’ve steered clear of those sneaky "anti-patterns", especially the one for working on non-recommended skills!Â
Now, with these core criteria in mind, let's explore the specific achievements needed for each app!Â
IXL
In IXL, Mastery is counted by achieving 100% SmartScore. Each subject has a different criteria for achieving a 2h session, as seen below:Â
IXL Math
- L4 & L3: Master 1 unit by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
- L2 & L1 (Grade 4): Master 2 units by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
- L1 (Grade 3), Linc & LL: Master 3 units by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
IXL Language
- L4, L3, L2 & L1 (Grade 4): Master 1 unit by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
- L1 (Grade 3):Â Master 2 units by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
- Linc & LL (Grade 2, Grade 1, Kindergarten):Â Master 3 units by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
- LL (Pre-K):Â Master 4 units by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
IXL Science
- L4, L3, L2 & L1: Master 1 unit by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
- Linc & LL:Â Master 2 units by achieving a 100% SmartScore + achieve all core criteria.
ReadTheory
In ReadTheory, Mastery is counted by answering a quiz with 80%+ accuracy.Â
To get a 2h session, you need to answer two quizzes with 80%+ accuracy on each + achieve all core criteria.Â
CommonLit
In CommonLit, Mastery is counted by answering a quiz with 80%+ accuracy.
To get a 2H session, you need to answer two quizzes with 80%+ accuracy on each + achieve all core criteria.
In addition, CommonLit has Short Answer questions that are manually graded. Achieving grade 4 out of 4 in one of these questions also counts as Mastery Unit.
NewsELA
In NewsELA, Mastery is counted by answering a quiz with 80%+ accuracy.
To get a 2h session, you need to get 80%+ accuracy on 2 quizzes + achieve all core criteria.
eGUMPP
In eGUMPP, Mastery is counted by completing an exercise with 90%+ accuracy.Â
To get a 2h session, you must complete one PTM exercise with 90%+ accuracy ORÂ Reinforcers (15 correct questions in a row) + achieve all core criteria.
Khan Academy
In Khan Academy, Mastery is counted by mastering a skill to 100%.
To get a 2h session, you must master a skill to 100% in 2 units + achieve all core criteria.
Amplify
In Amplify, Mastery is counted by completing a sub-game.Â
To get a 2h session, you must:Â
- L1, Linc & LL (Grade 1): Complete three sub-games + achieve all core criteria.
- LL (Kindergarten): Complete four sub-games + achieve all core criteria.
