Sometimes, students finish their last quiz (called the "Mastery Test") in eGumpp and score higher than 90%, but they still can’t move on to the next lessons. This can be confusing!

Why This Happens

This happens because eGumpp groups lessons into modules and lets you move to the next lesson inside the module even if your score is below 90%.

But when you finish the whole module, our system checks your scores for each lesson inside it, and you can’t move to the next one unless every lesson score is 90% or higher.

This rule is written in the eGumpp Student Launch Sheet in the 25–26 App Playbook: You must score 90% or higher on all lessons to unlock the next module.

In the example below, the student scored 94% on the Mastery Test but only 72% on the Number Usage lesson.

If this happens, don’t worry—it’s a great chance to learn more! You can go back, review the lessons, and try again.

Summary

To keep moving forward, make sure you score 90% or higher on each lesson. You won’t be stopped inside a module, but you can only move to the next module once all your lesson scores are above 90%.
