What is '2Hr Learning'?

1. Fun Subjects to Explore:

   • Main Subjects: Dive into Reading, Math, Language, and Science.
   • Extra Learning: Discover cool things in Writing, Social Science, and elective courses.

2. Learning at Your Pace:

   • This program is perfect if you love learning by yourself and at your own speed.
   • You get to move forward based on how well you're doing, not just your age or grade.

3. Your Daily Learning Goals:

   • Dedicate Time: Spend enough active, focused time on your lessons to achieve your goals in each subject. The recommended time is 25 minutes per subject, but as long as you achieve your mastery and accuracy goals, this is not a requirement to get a 2H badge. 
   • Accuracy Matters: Aim to get at least 80% correct. That means you're in the 'optimal learning zone'!
   • Master Your Lessons: Hit your 'lessons mastered' targets to keep up the right pace.
   • Stay Sharp: Watch out for 'learning anti-patterns' that might slow you down. You can find all the anti-patterns in the 'Antipattern List with Standard Advice' table.

  • How? Just by having quality learning sessions every day. That means scoring at least 80% accuracy, reaching your daily targets, and steering clear of anti-patterns.
  • Swap these badges for awesome rewards and new experiences.

Other Fun Ways to Earn Sessions:

1. Diagnostic and Renaissance Tests:

   • This is only a chance sometimes, so make the most out of it when it's time to test! Don't try completing these tests if they're not on Dash or indicated by your Guide. 
   • If you complete an IXL diagnostic in math or language, or a Renaissance test in math or reading, you'll get credit for trying, no matter the score! 

2. Edulastic STAAR Tests:

   • If you do an Edulastic STAAR test, you get all your subjects credited for the day. It's our way of making big test days a bit easier!

3. Limitless Meetings:

   • Join a Limitless Meeting with a Guide, and you'll earn a 2hr session. We love when you join these meetings and share your thoughts! 

Where Everything Happens: Dash

• Your Learning Hub: Dash is where all the magic happens. Here, you can find your tests, daily learning plans, and see how well you're doing. Plus, you'll get feedback and coaching to help you learn even better.
