You might start the day and see that Dash says you need to master a certain number of lessons today. Then, after you complete your first lesson, that number changes. This can be normal.
What happened?
- Dash updates your goals based on the level of the lesson you worked on today.
- Sometimes, you may be assigned a few lessons from a different grade level.
- When that happens, your “required lessons” number can change after you start working.
Example 1:
The system sees you're struggling and assigns you a few Supporting Lessons that are easier than your regular lessons. After you complete these lessons, Dash may increase your “required lessons” target for that day.
Example 2:
While bracketing, the system might notice you are "that close" to going to the next grade, so it will constantly assign you lessons that are harder than the regular lessons from a student who is just starting the grade you're bracketing. After you complete these lessons, Dash may lower your “required lessons” target for that day.
What should you do?
- Always follow your required learning in order (top to bottom).
- If your daily target changes once after you begin working, don’t worry—keep going.
