What You Might Notice

You might be worried that the extensions on Chrome might look different than "usual" or that clicking it asks you to sign in. This is normal:

1. The extension icon might look different

2. You might see a "Sign in" message when clicking the extension
   • Trying to use your school-provided credentials and sign in doesn't work
   • This message is unexpected, you don't have to sign into anything
   • You can ignore this message

Why Does This Happen?

The extension needs to recognize your school's email address to show your school's version of the icon. When you're on a new campus, taking a little extra time to recognize this correctly is normal, and you'll see a different icon during this time.

Is Everything Working Correctly?

The different icons (either a picture of "Einstein" or not) and the sign-in prompt aren't a problem! If this is the change, then the extension is working exactly as it should. This difference may show when the extension needs time to recognize which school you're from. This happens often with new campuses, and it's completely normal.

However, seeing a different color in the bottom right (there is usually a purple dot there, but now it's orange/green/red) means it won't work correctly!

Important: Color Indicators

• **Purple Dot**: Normal operation.
  
• **No dot or an Orange/Green/Red dot**: Indicates a possible issue.
